El Principal de Còrsega is a personal project that advocates for a return to direct contact with Art and artists.

Inspired by the gallery-apartments that existed in Paris in the 1960s and 1970s, where various types of meetings and audiences took place, El Principal de Còrsega offers a way to approach contemporary creation and collecting that champions proximity between artists, their works, and all those who wish to engage with them in the private, even “secret,” environment of a private home. For this reason, access is only available by invitation or with a prior appointment.

The programming at El Principal de Còrsega focuses primarily — although not exclusively — on senior artists with long and established careers. In addition to individual and collective exhibitions, the space hosts meetings, debates, talks, presentations, and other activities that create connections between artists, collectors, and people who are interested in or simply attracted by culture in general.

In short, El Principal de Còrsega is a circle of friends who share the deep conviction that Art is the best companion for the journey of our lives.
